One of my favorite cutting-edge research organizations, The Institute of HeartMath, has released a summary of its most recent intuition research. In experimental settings, intuition is often referred to as “pre stimulus response,” and in this case IHM developed an experiment to test this response called the Roulette Protocol–so called because it involved monitoring the physiological states of subjects before, during and after they placed a bet on a roulette wheel.
The test was set to measure whether the subjects consistently showed distinct physiological states/reactions for a win or loss BEFORE the roulette wheel actually stopped and indicated a result. The conclusion? Please follow the link below and read their own summary.
